How
did I get into this? Well I had a friend who was passionate
about her dog, it was her baby as she couldn't have any of her
own. I too love dogs so I said I'd have a go at drawing her
dog for her. I wasn't sure how it would turn out as I hadn't
done anything like that before... it was a huge success, she
was over the moon and said 'You should do this
professionally'. Well, I did a few more for friends, then
friends of friends and so on....
When I bought my first dog 'Vader' (picured below) after moving into my first
house, I grew even more passionate about dogs and wanted to do
something that involved being with dogs. The words of my
friend echoed in my head 'you should do this professionally'.
So I did, and here I am. Although dogs aren't the only animals
I love to draw, any animals really - I am a bit of a hippy at
heart and love all things to do with nature.
I
really enjoy trying to capture personalities in a painting,
and it is a real ego boost to here the delight of others upon
receiving their picture.
